Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming one of the most useful tools available to small businesses. From writing social media posts and emails to generating ideas, marketing content and saving time on everyday tasks, AI can act like a powerful digital assistant.
This practical three-hour workshop is designed for small business owners, sole traders, community organisations and anyone curious about how AI can support their work. No technical background is required.
During the session you will learn how AI tools such as ChatGPT and Canva AI can help with marketing, administration and customer communication. The workshop focuses on real-world examples and hands-on activities so participants can see how these tools work and begin using them straight away.
Topics covered include:
- What artificial intelligence actually is (in simple terms)
- Writing effective prompts to get better results from AI
- Creating social media posts and marketing content
- Using AI to draft emails, documents and customer responses
- AI tools that can save time in everyday business tasks
- Understanding the limitations and risks of AI
By the end of the workshop, participants will have tried several AI tools and will leave with practical ideas and prompts they can immediately apply in their own business or organisation.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and focuses on practical skills rather than technical concepts.
