Upon completion of this course you will gain a sound understanding and working knowledge of First Aid procedures.

Units covered are:

• HLTAID009 Perform CPR
• HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
• HLTAID011 Provide first aid

First Aid Certificates are valid for 3 years

We Also cover unit HLTAID012 for the Education and carers sector. Please advise this on enrolment, so you can receive the correct assessment and workbooks to cover this unit.

Work at home on theory with a workbook. Complete the practical component and do the assessment in class.

Provide a form of ID on the day of training.

TRAINING VENUES:   Glen Innes - Catholic church hall; Guyra - 136 Bradley St; Armidale - 10 Mann St.

Guyra and Glen Innes: Complete the workbook and return it four (4) days before the course starts, then attend the face-to-face practical sessions. The course will go ahead once minimum numbers have been reached.

Walcha and Armidale: Complete the workbook at home and bring it with you when you attend the face-to-face practical session.
